As a Family Historian, ya know I have stories. Lest we forget Fogo's founding through the Visionary gifts of Mestre Carlos Gilberto Aceituno (iba'e Iba'e tonnu), a dedicated cohort of Artistic comrades along with Foundational support inspiration from Pioneering Artistic leadership of the times.
Almost 2 decades later, under the vibrant leadership of Metzi Henriquez and Jose Rivera, longtime Fogo Members are blazing trails of their own, crafting fresh traditions through the power of our Youth.
As a devoted Carnavalesco legacy, nzoCALIFA burst into excitement to light up the Sparks of Fogo during this Crown Day Month initiative.
